At Mosaic we make change happen. Change has the power to transform brands.

Our experience is our

between us we

have plenty.

If we knew then what we know now.

Mosaic was created in a back bedroom in Brighton in 1992 by current MD Laurie Griffiths. Back then it was all about media-buying but the savings that were made for clients were soon re-invested into improving creatives and raising production values. Since then we've seen some changes! The arrival of new technologies brought with them new opportunities and by the mid '90s, we were developing websites when 'Google' was still just a number. Our expansion from humble beginnings soon saw considerable growth and by the turn of the millennium we were very much established as a national agency, synonymous with the creativity that runs through the vibrant city of Brighton.

The early 2000s saw considerable change for Mosaic. The work in the world of exhibitions, contract publishing and contract selling was largely replaced by brand development and communications from a now smaller, more boutique agency set up to work intimately with clients. The arrival of Fiona Lomas as Creative Director in 2007 brought a new vision to the agency. Between us, we now enjoy a reputation for generating excitement through creativity for a whole gamut of clients from world-renowned universities to best-selling sausage makers; the pinnacle of motorsports to Britain's fastest growing restaurant chains.

Our experience is our equity and because we have plenty, it means we’re reluctant to boast of a specialism. Mosaic’s creativity and approach shapes everything we do. And we do a lot. So we refuse to be defined as either a digital or creative brand agency since good brands need both. And that’s exactly what you’ll find at Mosaic. We can’t wait to share it with you.

Laurie Griffiths
Managing Director and Partner

It's fair to say Mosaic has defined my life. Since 1992, the last word with regard to running the business, has rested with me. We're all adaptable here and it feels like in my time I've enjoyed at least a dozen careers. Whether it's helping shape the output of the creatives, managing the team or working with our clients on a strategic level, my role is certainly varied. Throw in my photographic practice and you have a heady mix. There was a time I'd have worried about being seen as a 'Jack of all trades' but experience changes that. If I've learnt anything in my time, it's to know my limits and of course my strengths. Armed with that insight, you can build a team that works and I'm lucky enough to say that I work with some exceptional people.

Fiona Lomas
Creative Director and Partner

As far back as I can remember I wanted to be 'creative'. Creativity shapes my life, it's what makes me happy, and it's what keeps me awake at night. I worked my way up from my first 'Junior Artist' role, aged 16, for my local newspaper in Cumbria, through to my first Creative Director role nearly 15 years ago (I'm proud to be counted as one of only 11% of women in this role). Whilst Graphic Design is my trade, conceptual development is what really excites me. I first met Laurie a decade ago when I applied for the role of Creative Director with Mosaic — and something just clicked between us. It's fair to say there's been no looking back since then. We have a core team (across all aspects of the business) of equally creative people who have helped shape the agency into what it is today.
